I liked the amazing vision and unrelenting hard work that went into Shah Jahan's Taj Mahal and the gardens. As always, I was saddened by the structure of Moghul society and the suffering of most of the population. The plight of women in that society was terrible.Product details

I enjoy the creative presentation of historical detail. This period of time in the Indian/Pakistani/Kashmiri part of the world fascinates me. The writing is a bit "light" but well enough woven together to keep me engaged.
